If your Model S was configured in the single-charger configuration, the maximum range per hour of charge is 31 miles. By upgrading to add the 2^nd onboard charger, your Model S will be able to get up to 62 miles of range per hour of charge. The twin chargers allow twice the conversion capacity as the Single Charger when the power is available.
