Placing an Order

How will I know that my order was successfully placed?
You will receive a confirmation email from the Tesla Shop. Once your order ships, you will receive another email with the tracking number for your package.

Which credit cards can I use to place an order?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

Is it possible to return a product?
You may return your unused product in the original packaging for a full refund of the merchandise price within 30 days. Expect a refund to your credit card within 14 to 28 days after we receive your return (although you may see it sooner). Tesla Motors will cover shipping costs for defective product(s). Service-installed accessories are non-refundable after installation has occurred

Prior to returning a product, please send us an email with your order number. If your return is regarding apparel items or accessories please send an email to merchandise@tesla.com. If your return is regarding aftermarket or service products please email OnlineOrders@tesla.com. Please do not send a package back until you have received a shipping label from a Tesla Motors representative.

Shipping

We do not ship on weekends or major holidays. We do not ship to Post Office Boxes. If an order is placed with a PO box address, the order will be cancelled.

Vehicle Accessory Orders - All vehicle accessory orders totaling $100 or more will require a signature by a resident adult. No packages will be left unattended unless specified in the comments portion of your order. If removal of a signature requirement is requested, Tesla is not responsible for lost, stolen, incorrectly delivered, or undelivered items and no refunds or replacements will be issued. 

Merchandise Orders - All merchandise orders totaling $500 or more will require a signature by a resident adult.  No packages will be left unattended unless specified in the comments portion of your order. If removal of a signature requirement is requested, Tesla is not responsible for lost, stolen, incorrectly delivered, or undelivered items and no refunds or replacements will be issued.  

Do you ship to my country?
We recommend ordering directly from a Tesla Store or Tesla Service Center in your country for faster delivery and less expensive shipping options. 

How will I know when my order has been shipped?
You will receive a shipping confirmation notice via email when your order has left the warehouse. Apparel orders typically ship within 5 business days. Aftermarket vehicle accessories typically ship within 5-7 business days, but may vary depending on the items ordered. 

How can I track my order?
You will receive a shipping confirmation notice via email when your order has left the warehouse. It will contain a tracking number from the carrier that we have utilized to ship your package.

There is a problem with my shipment/my order never arrived, what should I do?
If you experience any problems with your apparel order please contact customer service at merchandise@tesla.com. If you have any questions about an aftermarket product order please contact OnlineOrders@tesla.com.
