Placing an Order

How will I know that my order was successfully placed?
You will receive a confirmation email from the Tesla Shop. Once your order ships, you will receive another email with the tracking number for your package.

Which credit cards can I use to place an order?
The Tesla Shop accepts MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover.

Is it possible to return a product?
You may return your unused product in the original packaging for a full refund of the merchandise price within 30 days. Expect a refund to your credit card within 14 to 28 days after we receive your return (although you might see it sooner). Tesla Motors will cover shipping costs for defective product(s).

Prior to returning a product, please send an email to merchandise@teslamotors.com (with your order number). After communicating with a Tesla Motors representative, a return authorization number will be issued to ensure that all returns are handled properly. The return authorization number must be clearly marked on the return packaging or the package will be refused and returned to the sender.

Shipping

Do you ship to my country?
We can only accommodate North American orders (USA & Canada) only.

How will I know when my order has been shipped?
You will receive a shipping confirmation notice via email when your order has left the warehouse. Most orders ship within 1 business day of being placed. If your order is placed on a Friday, it may not be shipped until the following Monday.

How can I track my order?
You will receive a shipping confirmation notice via email when your order has left the warehouse. It will contain a tracking number from the carrier that we have utilized to ship your package.

There is a problem with my shipment/my order never arrived, what should I do?
